Tim Holland, better known as Sole, is not one to hold back how he feels or what he thinks about anything. The outspoken emcee, activist, artist and musician has been making music since he was a teenager and retains the same unquenchable passion for DIY projects he's had since day one.
Born in Portland, Maine, Holland started his own label, 45 Below Records, at the ripe age of 15, which included fellow emcee Alias. In 1998, he paired up with rapper Pedestrian and established Anticon, which would evolve into one of the most reputable independent hip-hop labels in the business. Breaking onto the scene with his single "Classic Man", singer/rapper Jidenna (full name Jidenna Theodore Mobisson) is currently signed to Wondaland Records.
Born on May 4th, 1985 to a white mother and Nigerian father, he grew up in Nigeria where his father was a professor of computer science at Enugu State University. Jidenna's name in the Igbo language actually means "embrace the father".
Jidenna's family moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1995 and he later attended Stanford University first studying sound engineering before switching to "ritualistic arts". After his graduation in 2008, he moved on to pursue his music career full-time.

T.I. being sued by jewelry company
TMZ is reporting that rapper T.I. is being sued by a local jewelry company in Atlanta for $700,000, the very same week that he laid his late grandfather to rest.
As reported by TMZ, the jewelry company Aydin & Co. is suing T.I. for unpaid debts on the jewelry they sold him over the past decade. In the lawsuit details, the company delivered an 18.5 karat white gold bracelet, a ring and yellow gold rosary to the rapper in 2014 for which T.I. paid $20,000. According to Aydin though, the pieces totaled at $64,000, leaving $44,000 still owed.
The company has elaborated on further debts owed, suing for a total larger than $700,000; according to reports T.I. is calling the lawsuit bogus.

Rick Ross and Lira Galore have officially split
With the initial rumors popped up last November, Lira Galore has now confirmed that she is no longer with Rick Ross.
Galore told Global Grind that she first met Ross on the set of a Lil Wayne music video. "I met Ross on the set of the "Thug Cry" video with Lil Wayne, but we didn’t start talking until later, because on set it was just a work vibe," Galore said. "We met again All-Star Weekend and he grabbed me like, 'yo, I've been looking for you.' We exchanged numbers and the rest is history."

Future accuses Ciara of keeping him from their son
Future is claiming that former partner Ciara is barring him access to their son, also named Future.
The rapper, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, separated from Ciara in 2014 after allegations of his infidelity. Future Jr, Ciara's first born child and Future's fourth, was born in May of that year.
In a series of tweets, Future claims that since their split, he has barely seen their son and has to go through lawyers to see "babyfuture". Future wrote: "This bitch got control problems. I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture...the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that's all," he added. "I been silent for a year & a half...I ran outta patience."
