LITTLE BROTHER ANNOUNCES FINAL TOUR

Little Brother—the celebrated duo of Grammy Award-nominated artist Phonte Coleman and Rapper Big Pooh—have announced their final tour. Aptly titled the Curtain Call: The Final Tour, the run kicks off on May 24 in Baltimore at the Artscape Festival and concludes with the Rock the Bells Cruise on October 31. Other stops along the way include Boston, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Raleigh, North Carolina.

CHUCK D MAKES DEF JAM RETURN WITH "NEW GENS" FEATURING DADDY-O

Chuck D has dropped a new single called "New Gens" featuring Stetsasonic's Daddy-O along with a video for the Def Jam Recordings release. It marks the first single from Chuck's upcoming solo album, Radio Armageddon, which is scheduled to arrive on May 16. The 14-track project, his first solo effort since 2018's Celebration of Ignorance, includes gangsta-rap pioneer Schoolly D, Phill Most Chill, Donald D and Jazzy Jay of the Universal Zulu Nation, among others. ICE CUBE IMMORTALIZED WITH HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME STAR

Ice Cube was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday (April 15). The ceremony took place outside of the TCL Chinese Theater in the heart of Hollywood, where friends, family and fans gathered to see the trailblazing West Coast rapper/actor cement his status—literally.

Cube shared an Instagram post commemorating the occasion with the caption, “Today was legendary. Left my prints in cement at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Honored to continue to receive my flowers in a business I never thought I’d be apart of.”

Several of his peers hopped in the comment section to congratulate Cube. Xzibit wrote, “Well deserved and long overdue. Thank you for being the cornerstone for this thing of ours called West Coast Hip Hop Don Mega. Salute,”

Dr. Dre turned 60 on Tuesday (February 18), and Eminem was among the first to wish him a Happy Birthday on social media. Alongside a photo of himself with the prolific producer, Eminem wrote simply, "Still Dre. D-R-E."

In what seems like an ongoing nightmare with no end in sight, the Los Angeles wildfires continue to wreak havoc on Southern California.

As some of the smoke starts to clear, more and more members of the Hip-Hop community are stepping up to help their fellow creatives, including Pete Rock and DJ Spinna. On Monday (January 13), both veteran producers shared a fundraising link for Madlib, who just lost everything he owns to the massive blazes.

Method Man Denies Assaulting Man At Staten Island Gym

Method Man (real name Clifford Smith) has denied recent allegations of assault. A report published by the New York Post on Thursday (January 16) claimed the Wu-Tang Clan legend punched a 28-year-old man seven times in the face at Crunch Fitness Gym on Staten Island.

But Method Man’s representative, Nicole Perna, refuted the claims, stating he’s not been involved in any such incident, saying in a statement, “Mr. Smith categorically denies the allegations as reported and has not been the subject of an arrest by any law enforcement agency.”
