Karega Bailey debuts new video for Last Kut

With Karega Bailey's cross-country move from D.C. to Oakland complete, the emcee/poet/educator is back to work as not only the Director and Special Education/Performing Arts Coordinator of Roses in Concrete Community School, but also as a staunch preservationist of hip-hop culture. Bailey caught the attention of Public Enemy's Chuck D in 2012 while they were both attending a conference in Atlanta. He's been on the grind ever since. His latest video for "Last Kut" bursts with classic hip-hop flavor and authentic musicality, including live horns. Drakes addresses ghostwriter claims in new interview

Drake has finally responded to claims that some of his lyrics were written by ghostwriters. Meek Mill originally made the accusations on Twitter, saying that Drake used a ghostwriter for his guest appearance on the star's recent LP. The accusations then led to diss tracks being exchanged, and barbed jibes over the course of several weeks. Drake defended himself by saying that "music can be a collaborative process" in a recent interview with The Fader. "I need, sometimes, individuals to spark an idea so that I can take off running," Drake said. "Music at times can be a collaborative process, you know? "I've been doing that (making a new album) too," he said. "That's like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting." West has already debuted another new song, 'Fade' at a New York Fashion Week event, another track that he's been working on for some time apparently. "That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete," West says. <
