Foul Mouth Jerk drops album featuring a new single with Tame One & TopR

Foul Mouth Jerk has joined forces with legendary Artifacts member Tame One and TopR for the recently released single, New Sheriff In Town. The lead single from Jerk's new album, Death By Misadventure, is classic, grimy, B-Boy funk spit from three veterans in the game. A razor sharp scratch montage by European DMC champion DJ Grazzhoppa on the hook, brings it all together over a beat by Reef Ali. Foul Mouth Jerk's Death By Misadventure (his sixth solo-album) is available now and features appearances by Tame One, TopR, Z-Man and more. Production is handled by NC's Reef Ali, Swilliam Beamon, frequent King Mez collaborator Commissioner Gordon, San Francisco's Dick Nasty and Brycon. Sapient The RAPstation Interview If you Google "Sapient, rapper," the first hit is the Portland, Oregon-based emcee's official website. Underneath the URL it reads, "The views of this website are cosigned by the gawds. If you're not feeling it, you can go behead thyself." Ladies and gentleman, meet Sapient, one of indie rap's most sarcastic emcees. Wake Self: The RAPstation Interview

Wake Yourself New Mexico's Wake Self On the Rise New Mexico's hardest working emcee might just be turning into one of the world's hardest working emcees. Andy Martinez, better known as Wake Self, has been perfecting his craft over the past decade and his dedication is paying off. The Albuquerque-based artist fell in love with hip-hop at an early age, gravitating towards the sounds of classic hip-hop artists like A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde, which eventually made him want to pick up a microphone. It's been on ever since. After a successful run with hip-hop band, Zoology, Wake Self went on a solo mission, beginning with 2013's The Healing Process. The album revealed the inner thoughts of a young man intent on positive change. That album took him to countless
