The second video from Tef Poe's latest magna carta Cheer For The Villain was just released. Titled "Hog in the Lane," the video features Rockwell Knuckles and is clearly a classic Saint Louis street video. Tef and Rocky didn't even put out that much notice. It was kind of like, ‘Yo, "Hog In The Lane video," be here, boom,' and this is the organic result. It really shows the city's flair and the love for its artists. Shot entirely on the North Side streets, it has cars, chips, drinking in cars, Pitbull puppies, mannequins, OG's in suits, a snake, and a John Deer golf cart on Daytons. Any Questions? SA Martinez (vocalist / DJ of 311) and musician/producer Ryan Siegel have joined forces as Los Stellarians. Los Stellarians' debut album Cholo Soul (out 8/26) is a collection of covers of soul songs from the '70s - and a tribute to some unheralded masters of classic soul and funk. Martinez curated the project and is lead vocalist. Siegel handled recording and production along with rhythm guitar, bass, keys and backing vocals. After Ugly Heroes' 2013 classic self titled LP, Apollo Brown, Verbal Kent and Red Pill are back again with a new EP coming out August 19th. The new EP features five new songs (including a Murs feature) and 4 bonus track b-sides. Ugly Heroes will also be touring Europe for a few weeks this August, starting with the legendary Hip-Hop Kemp Festival before hitting London and a number of other spots (all the dates will soon be up on the MMG Event Calendar). Blueprint just finished his final leg of his Respect The Architect Tour in Albany, New York on July 11, 2014, but he's making sure the party doesn't stop and continues to drop stellar videos from the new album, which is still resonating through the music community.
