Muncie, IN native Siah, also known as Siah Soze blesses the Hip-Hop community with the 2013 release of his FreEP "10:13". The EP features eight tracks with 2 additional bonus cuts and includes guest appearances from the likes of Bizzy Bone, Kurupt of The Dogg Pound, Canibus, Indy's own M-Eighty, Nino Graye and fellow Kutthroat member Whitehead.
Siah's history on the Indy music scene is very thorough in both the realms of on and off stage as Siah was a former member of both The Kutthroatz (2006) and the Iron Workers Guild (2008) better known as I.W.G. Siah also released his debut solo album "Organized Rhyme" hosted and produced by legendary beatmaker Domingo in 2009 to critical acclaim throughout Indiana and the USA.
He has also shared stages throughout the Midwest with the likes of Black Sheep, Canibus, Digable Planets, Aesop Rock, Cappadonna, Glass City and more.
At press time Siah and a couple of the albums contributors had this to say on behalf of the artist and the "10:13" project:
"Siah is by far the deadliest emcee I've ever seen with both mic skills and cam skills. He could literally blow your mind in a cipher lyrically while filming your facial expressions. Definitely an unexpected explosion of illness!" -Cappadonna (Wu-Tang Clan)
"Siah is a member of that new wave of emcee who understands where the art is going and still has one foot rooted in the golden era and you can hear it in his delivery and his passion to embrace not only the mic but the culture as a whole." -Canibus
"To me this project is my peace offering to Indy. To let the city where I come from (Muncie) know who I am, what I stand for and the work that I've been embracing on a larger scale in hopes of bringing the light back home and to all artists in Indy, the Midwest and worldwide."
